The Power of Both/And Thinking via Polarity Management

This interactive session explores the importance for leaders to expand their perspective taking abilities by becoming aware of polarities and developing a polarity management competency to better meet the challenges of a VUCA environment.
Polarity management helps leaders move from an either/or mindset to a both/and mindset, which allows them to lead from a more inclusive perspective. During this session, you will learn to recognize the differences between problems to solve and polarities to manage, gain an understanding of polarity management, and engage in the development of a polarity map and action steps.

Marie Legault, PhD.
Marie Legault, of Legault & Associates, is a leadership development consultant, facilitator and coach. She draws on her management and leadership experience to design and deliver integrated leadership and organizational development solutions. As a leadership coach, she guides and supports leaders and executive teams as they develop on three leadership levels – personal, organizational, and systemic.
Marie has a PhD. in Human and Organizational Systems, a Master of Arts in Leadership and Training, a Bachelor of Commerce, an Executive Coaching Graduate Certificate and a Professional Training & Development Certificate. She is a dynamic bilingual (English and French) speaker and has written articles for various publications.
