Event Description

Adaptive leadership enables OD practitioners and their stakeholders to navigate change, build community, and strengthen connectivity.

This workshop invites you to consider organizations as complex adaptive systems with human, administrative and adaptive elements which serve each other best when they’re aligned. Change often threatens to disrupt this alignment, but applying the six principles of adaptive leadership improves organizational success through strengthening psychological safety, while increasing situational understanding and relational exchanges between managers and their employees.

Join us this evening and contribute to uncovering how adaptive leadership can be our guide to anticipating and providing the support our stakeholders need from us as they work through the situational and social symptoms that can arise as part of navigating change.

Facilitator Bio

Merike Kolga Ed.D

A Certified Strengths Coach and Doctor of Education, Merike is a results-driven, collaborative leader with experience in designing and enabling organizational solutions for advancing individual and team-level talent. Focusing her career on adult education, Merike has a talent for connecting theory and practice and excels at transforming abstract ideas into clear concepts. Her projects include onboarding programs, custom course design, facilitation, producing career matrix and pathways for employee development. She has participated in a national shipbuilding procurement strategy, establishing effective training departments along with instructional, advisory, and mentoring programs and is our current BCODN president.
