Enhance your OD practice: become a volunteer consultant!
Want to apply OD principles, tools, strategies and techniques to real work experiences?
Ever wondered if OD consulting is your calling? Are you a passionate supporter of a non-profit group and would you like to see them benefit from some OD support?
Emerging and experienced OD practitioners can volunteer to work on organizational issues with non-profit groups in the BC Lower Mainland. Mentors (senior consultants) provide coaching and other support as you collaborate with a client on a two- to four-month long project.
Comments from past volunteers:
“I cannot think of any addition [to my experience]. Our Team and our Project got very good support from
the mentor assigned.”
“[Volunteering on the BCO project] confirmed that I love doing this type of work, and that I like working with non-profits/values- based/learning-orientated organizations. That has helped me in further developing my consulting focus.”
The BCO committee is looking for volunteers to participate in our upcoming Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 projects. If you are interested and/or want more information please contact Tanis Angove @ firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP! We will be looking to orientate new volunteers in early September.
